Date: Thursday 16 February 2017

Location: 200 SVS, 200 St Vincent Street, Glasgow, G2 5RQ

Our third Workplace Innovation Masterclass took take place on Thursday 16th February 2017 at 200 SVS , 200 St Vincent Street, Glasgow, G2 5RQ.

A full programme from the afternoon can be downloaded here.

Workplace Innovation Masterclass focussed on 'distributed' and 'shared' forms of leadership - leadership practices that are more collaborative, open and decentralised. In enabling a 'network of leaders' some formal and others informal - operating at all levels of an organisation, organisations can mobilise collective insights, motivations and creative talents of their employees, supply chain/delivery partners and customers.

We were delighted to be joined by Stewart Bromley, Chief Operating Officer for Atom Bank, the UK's first bank built exclusively for mobile. Stewart has more than 25 years' experience as a senior business leader with organisations including First Direct and HSBC. We heard from Dr Ashley Roberts of Warwick Business School (WBS), University of Warwick. Ashley is the Assistant Dean for Creativity and Principal Teaching Fellow at WBS. Ashley's recent work has focused on the outcomes of shared leadership projects. We were also delighted to hear from Marianne Heijneman from Hands-on-Talent. Marianne is an executive coach who has worked with senior business leaders and teams across the globe. Previously, she spent twenty eight years at Mars Netherlands (as in Mars Chocolate!) as a senior HER practitioner and Manager at 'Mars University', the organisation's leadership development programme.

The Masterclass was aimed at business leaders and HR practitioners interested in sharing experiences on the benefits that can flow from workplace innovation and how we can empower employees and unleash their innovative potential.
